The ‘Galimbuwan’ (‘Waterholes’) design by Peter Mackay has been selected for the Warraan Widji Arts shirt. Wayilwan Country waterways meander across the landscape. Galimbuwan are re-filled after floods and are a source of survival through dry times. Our warraan widji (river place) has bilabang (billabongs), the large waterholes as well as the small.
Shirts can be ordered as a shiny polyester. We are hoping to supply the shirt in a cool cotton fabric soon!
